VISITA DE ESTUDIANTES DE INGENIERIA NAVAL DE LA UDC

Las oficinas centrales de Oliver Design en Getxo (Bizkaia) recibieron el pasado Viernes la visita de un nutrido grupo de estudiantes de la Escuela Politécnica Superior de Ingeniería Naval y Oceánica de la UDC (Universidade da Coruña, campus de Ferrol), encabezados por el profesor Raúl Villa. La visita se inscribe en un viaje para conocer de primera mano varias empresas líderes en diferentes actividades relacionadas con el sector naval ubicadas en Asturias, Cantabria y el País Vasco.

Un total de 40 estudiantes tuvieron ocasión de conocer de primera mano las instalaciones, la trayectoria a lo largo de tres décadas y la realidad actual de Oliver Design. Todo ello de la mano de su fundador y CEO, Jaime Oliver, que expuso algunas de las claves de su amplio itinerario profesional como diseñador e ingeniero naval, y contestó a diversas cuestiones relacionadas con la profesión.

STUDENTS FROM THE UDC VISIT OLIVER DESIGN OFFICES

The Oliver Design headquarters in Getxo (Bizkaia) were visited last Friday by a large group of students from the UDC Higher Polytechnic School of Naval and Oceanic Engineering (University of Coruña, Ferrol campus), headed by Professor Raúl Villa . The visit is part of a trip to see first hand several leading companies in different activities related to the naval sector located in Asturias, Cantabria and the Basque Country.

A total of 40 students had the opportunity to see first hand the facilities, the trajectory over three decades and the current reality of Oliver Design. All this from the hand of its founder and CEO, Jaime Oliver, who presented some of the keys to his extensive professional itinerary as a naval designer and engineer, and answered various questions related to the profession.
